Coolness - a track from my theremin band Continuum's album Best Kept Secret won a best ambient track of 2007 on Spellbound Radio (theremin music radio station) - you can download the show every week if you don't catch it live. It seems the only outlet for my electronic music.

My cold has turned more coldy woldy - I stayed in the warm and did some mixes, performing surgery on a Bridget track to extract a Breton tune from the end of it to have on my album. I think it worked. Had to change thinking about the track order when I found track 2, 3 & 4 in planned order were all in Bminor.

Cheered self in evening by watching the 1st in my Thin Man DVD box set I got for xmas with the 1st in the series The Thin Man - excellent - Willaim Powell is so cool.

Neil the Bass came round with fretted and fretless bass and recorded on 5 tracks. I think all tracks need one more mix (yeah, right!) and it;s cooked. Poor lad, he still was pretty weak from hsi bout with the Norovirus. We were gonna do dinner later but he needed to crash out.

My cold reached it;s grotty peak in the night and I do feel better today. I think I;m OK for the charity songs gig tomorrow - if I can remmeber how to sing my acoustic songs again.

Finished my 2nd go thru the Larry Sanders Show Season 1 - season 2 aint out and they've fobbed us off with another best of collection. Might have to go for it anyhow.

Yay - sold some CDs this year at the German Filkshop - a Storming and 2 My Minds Islands.

I have recently rediscovered the joys of Lorraine Bowen  - wonderful unique eccentric songwriter and performer on her Casio keyboard with an ironing board for a stand. I remember her on the TV many years ago - didn;t really get her then - then I found her singing on a Gentle People album - I love them. I get her now.
Her bossas are fab, plus she has done filk - check out a clip of Space on her page. I;m also addicted to her lush bossa Julie Christie - hear it on her myspace  - also hear her "hit" the Crumble Song in 2 different incarnations. She does silly and posh songs - I;m gonna hafta get some of her albums.
