Today i was sleepy from the start - didnlt get much done - got bogged down in communications, sorting dates and contract stuff. Re-recorded a vocal on Monkeys On The Moon song - not sure now if it will be on the new album or not. 
Intimating (as the song does in the 3rd verse) that the President of the USA is a monkey is cool when it's GW Bush. (eg Bush or chimp site ) However if the album comes out and Omaba gets in - calling the 1st black US president a monkey is distinctly not cool. :-/  I could hold it over for a filk album I guess.

Evening gig at the Cactus Cafe was solo as Andy the Sax had to cancel. Weird thing - one of the regular waitresses returned to the place - after 14 years. Talk about a time warp! She doesn't look any different either. Still getting used to the new keyboard but the lighter keys are great for my hand.

Got a new version of Terry Riley In C on CD - voices and mallets only - Ars Nova. Very groovy version.
