Odd day yesterday -
1. a myspace message exchange with Simon Stockhausen about his new lovely piece for his late father.
2. I noticed on the graphics for my song album a gap in the track listing
3. I remember a tune I wrote on holiday in Alnwick in the summer
4. wrote song about my mom and her passing.
So I guess I need to record it and add it to album - so it's not finished after all. Ah well - good job no-ne's holding their breath for it :-)
In th eevening a ceilidh gig out of town (deepest Staffordshire) - a HUGE house way out in the sticks - long candlelit driveway across a field - cue the Addams Family gags. 1 hours set on arrival - 30mins acoustic set in the dining room - 1 hour ceildh and 1 hour concert. The get out took a while (someone grabbed mic to sing songs (offkey) to the party) so got home at 3am. 4am before brain slow enogh to think of bed.
Taking it gentle today.
Jazz Orient gig came in this morning for May - Plymouth - nice and local then.... - knowing my delicate nature they fixed a piano there to borrow so I could do it by train maybe.

Ah happy days when pop was fun. 1974. Perhaps my favourite Wizzard song - that and See My Baby Jive - or Angel Fingers - so many... and lots on youtube.
I was lucky enough to open for RW a few years ago. His big band were the best band I ever saw at Cropredy. Top bloke - recently given a doctorate of music at Univ of Derby - Rock on Dr Woody!
