Yesterday was a full on day in the studio adding electric guitar to some tracks and mixing. In the evening I had a gig with Dan Britton at the Loughborough Acoustic Club - nice to see old friends Dinah & Nic there who came specially. Dan used his new PA to test it out. Not  ahuge crowd but Dan & I donlt get duo gigs much these days so we gave it a lot of oomph and had a good time. Sold 1 duo JBReal CD and Dan sold some of his (it was his gig really - I came along for the ride.)

Then today I was determined to put the songs album to rest - or pretty close - unfortunately it becama obvious that the new song needed some percussion - having used brush loops on the Jodi song it put me in mind to use them again on this - it's time consuming finding the right loops but I found just the right one. Other tracks needed remixes too so I plodded on thru lunch and grabbing dinner at 9pm. Fixed the graphics too. The new song is sounding good - just needs one little panning fix. I'll rest the album til next week but it;s damned nearly there.

Bridget's album came back from the mastering man. Sounded awesome - luckily it had dmmed from my mind so I couldn't remember which track was coming next. Very happy with it.

Jazz Orient gig came in for London in May - will be a handy rehearsal for Plymouth with them a few days later.
