Thursday night was Dan Britton's Moo-sic in the Cowshed event - a pleasant affair with Smallbear, Irene Rae and Dan & self playing together and in a set with Dave Kirk the Guitar in a nicely furninshed shed in a farm - with food & candles etc. Our set was enhanced by Neil the Bass (who si off on tour with Tommy Emmanuel til thes summer) & Neil the Cajon joining us which made some numbers like Carousell really rock. Nice crowd - about 40+ - mostly the Kirby Twins crowd.

Friday I was still tying up stuff to do with the album, doing my website news page and newsletter etc. Got late offer of a gig but turned it down as I was tired and have 2 gigs the next day. Sold a Song for Dreamers CD online to the states. Designed a new poster and almost finished readying the album for duplication.

Sat - played birthday party set at Quad Studios a very nice place - I will perhaps get Continuum to do some recording there - it turns out themain guy there is into electronic ambient stuff and seemed keen to do a little event there. Nice crowd - I did a set of folk, filk and theremin which all went down well - sold 4 CDs 3 Alien Salad Abductions, 1 My Minds Island.
In the evening I played a kindof a restaurant/pub - hard to know what kind of thing was required - mellow dining music or upbeat stuff for those at the bar. In the end I mostly did jazz. Nice to see Helen and George the Vicar and a table of chums there. 3 x 40mins sets - quite long.
