Started the Water track today - did a 15minute live take of just voice thru harmonizer, 1sec delay/reverb, 24sec gigs delay, moogerfooger murf, riding the murf filter mix as it went along. Then did the same for the theremin. Then added synthpad, then arpeg synth & wheeblebox. Slow going but worth it. Sounds lush - just needs Celticising - will add some whistle and zither tomorrow.
Dd a bit more proofing on Bridgets CD artwork.
Huzzah - my 1996 Flying Home CD is now available fropm CDBaby
Decided on ordering laptop after Easter - haven't decided which yet - it;s the Acer or the Lenovo. Tho I was tempted by cheap Lenovo on ebay I think I'll buy from local shop so I got somewhere to take it if it's broken.
No news on Fandango today.

So today I added some tin whistle to the Water track and nothing else was really needed so it is done. Again very pleased with it - with the washes of filtered echoed voices and theremin floating and swirling. This means I'm 3/4 of the way thru my part of the album before I hand it to Llewellyn to add his parts. Time for a rest from studio work now.
One of the coolest things about doing the track was working with the delays and moogerfooger murf multi-filter. There's a electronic treatment of voices at the end of Arne Nordheim's Aurora (one of my fave classical pieces) and at times I got really close to it with the filtering. Kinda always wondered how it was done so it was cool to get close to it. I wanna Moogerfooger Ringmodulator now... They warend me on the Moog forum - you buy 1 Moogerfooger you want them all :-)
I did a little advisary on Bridgets cover art again. Fixed a recording session for Clooaki for her album next week. I also finally got my haircut - makes me laugh at my Indian barbers they have a high shelf with 4 figurines - 2 are Laurel & Hardy, 1 is Homer & Bart Simpson and the other is... Ghandi. :-) Its always fun to hear the latest Bollywood pop tunes there too.
Good news on Fandango - He is off the ventilator and awake and spoke.
I also sold a Songs for Dreamers CD online.
A pretty good note to break for Easter.
