So the laptop was delivered - a surprise coz I'd requested to pick it up from the shop. It looks smarter than i expected.  Been too busy finishing recording to do anything with it except let Windows XP set itself up and make me burn a recovery disk. Also a  bit scared to commence on it. as I am with all new kit - bought first accesory - a bag for it :-) Open office will probably be next thing to put on it.

Added guitar and zithers and did numerous remixes on the Air new age track - remixes mostly down to vaguries of bamboo flute level and breathyness. Just working on what i hope will be the final mix of the track and the album.

Jazz gig with Andy the Sax at the Cactus Cafe was very quiet due to torrential downpour and England football match on TV. Nice to be able to hear the new piano properly in the live setting.

Tonight I play support and play with Vikki Clayton on her last Leicester gig before she emigrates to New Zealand. Better drop my new age head and get some songs under my fingers...
